as the first semster is coming to a close I suddenly find something that has been missing from my life for the past few months. inspiration! inspiration for what? for my original art of course! and that inspiration hit me about 2 hours ago and has been keeping me awake. Anyone remember the "short story" i wrote, "Of Bloodshed and Mercy"? well... I've decided I'm going to A)rework it a bit and B) continue on with the story. First I need to reread what the hell I wrote in it.... then I'm going to "start from the beginning" meaning that the first actual storyline will be set in the past, before Val became a vampire. the story has change a bit because my sweetheart, has given me the idea i was lacking when i first wrote Val. Originally when i wrote Val's story I couldn't think what she should be so I just stuck with vampire since i had been working on a vamp RP at the time. but then, a few months ago, me and my RO guild joined a private server (fkRO, Forsaken Ragnarok Online) to RP on when we were stuck on the main server (iRO) (and just for shit's n giggles because who doesnt love going from level 1 to 40 by killing a poring?) and I decided to play Valentine because I adore her as a character. well I couldn't think what she should be and I REALLY didn't want to bring vamps into that RP (that and I'm sick of vamps at the moment (except for the ones in Vampire Academy but they're mage/vamps) because of flippin twilight. sorry twilight fans, but the rabid ones amoungst you have killed it for me) so I asked "what should val be? I don't want her to be an Elf because A) too many other elves in our RPs, B) her lifespan is shorter than an elf's anyways and C) i wanted her to be the last of her race. and so i was given the suggestion of a fire spirit or fire fae. I went with fire spirit. and now I want to stick with that. kinda. What i want to do is change it so she was born fire spirit, but somewhere along the way someone attempted to turn her vamp, and only semi succeded, making her stuck in between the two races. It's gonna be fun to write that out. I also wanna do some more art for her (not sure I've even posted what i already have of her up here) and I'm thinking probably doing black ink with the only color being her hair and eyes. Because I love that sort of art. Oh her eye color changed too. I decided that they shouldn't be the clashing bright blue they originally were, but instead should be amber. so yeah, lots of edits being done to characters I never really thought out all the way. Even though Val was a really old character of mine she was always just a vague image and a personality. originally she was simply the embodyment of chaos and was called Chaos in everything she was mentioned in (and dont start yellin at me about how I stole stuff from ffvii, i created Chaos LOOOONNNNGG before i even KNEW about Final Fantasy. i was in 5th grade when i made her and wasnt allowed to play video games) I actually have some of the final pics I did of her as chaos. she was always portrayed as having mid back length blood red hair and having red bat wings. and wearing lots of red. originally she was supposed to be the opposite of Raine who always appeared calm and collected and was usually very quiet and calculating. Chaos was loud, tempermental, she would charge right into a battle without a thought, and she would do the randomest things (hence the name chaos). I'm not entirely sure when or why Chaos became val but i'm thinking it was for the better. I'm still trying to keep her as driven by her heart in her story, however the way I'm writing her in the RP on fkRO is one who is driven by her heart but, due to her circumstances (the circumstances of a criminal on the run) she has to use her head, keep calm and not cause any sort of comotion. I bet it's driving her nuts XD

anyways now that I've gotten that out of my system I have to go get 4 hours of sleep before school and pray i dont start napping durring class. damn you mind why do you always do this to me when i have school the next day?! @_@ anyways, Xir over and out.
